  1. I thought this movie was really great for its time. The rocket based off of the V2. The slow-mo effects for gravity on the moon and the fact that they tried to be as realistic as possible. It was a bit goofy with the random Boston crew member and the Woody the Woodpecker bit in the beginning. I honestly didn't understand why it had only a 6.4 rating on IMDB until I got to the end of the movie. 6/10 would not watch again.

  2. This movie was pretty good for the 50's, but also slightly freaky, as the details of going to the moon in the film were similar to how it happened in real life. Almost as if this was the foundation of the events in real life. But it was a very hard scifi, which normally would be okay with me, but it was not what I was in the mood for when we watched it. Probably would not watch again. 5/10.
