  1. Michael Crichton has a thing for theme parks gone awry. And fortunately for this movie, I'm into that. Westworld did a great job at showing us how much fun a park like this could be, and how terrible it could be when it all goes to hell. I liked the sets here and the mix between the three parks. The bits showing the routine maintenance to the park was really cool and helped me believe it. I didn't like the awkward robot sex scene at the bar. It was like a kid explaining to a therapist what he saw his parents doing. "They were naked and rolling around on the bed wrestling". I wish there was a little more scary violence in the film. The first hour was just two guys having a great time at Westworld and then 30 minutes of a guy getting chased. I can't help but think James Cameron drew some inspiration from this. It would have been nice to see a group of people slowly picked off by the robot sex slave revolt. If you enjoyed this film you should definitely try the HBO show of the same name.

    8/10 Would watch again.
